The CARRICK name first appears in our lineage at the beginning of the 19thC when Rachael Carrick married Henry Myas in Skirlaugh, East Yorkshire.
The Carricks were spread through quite a number of villages in the Holderness area of East Yorkshire,
but the majority of Carrick families appear to have originated around the Easington area, close to Spurn Point.
Rachael Carrick (b.1780, Easington, East Yorkshire) was our 3G-Grandmother.
